I wore this through a two-hour photoshoot on a hot day then went straight to the supermarket lugging five heavy bags up to my apartment.

It did not crease the way cotton does. It did not show a thing. At the end of the day it still looked like I had just put it on.

One thing worth knowing before you buy:

This shirt has limited stretch. I am normally a size 16 through the shoulders and I am wearing a size 14. The 16 had arms that were too long and the shoulders did not sit right, so I sized down.

When I was reaching for items at the supermarket it bunched slightly with the arm movement. It recovered when I stopped. For lunch, work at a desk, or a social occasion you will not notice it. If your day is very physical, know that going in.

I am not a model. I have cellulite. I have lumps and bumps. I look like most women - not a size 8 skinny young model. There are no filters on these photographs. What you see is what you get, on a real body.

I am wearing a size 14 in this shirt. My advice on sizing:

If you have broader or squarer shoulders, the size up will have arms that are too long and shoulders that sit slightly off. Sizing down gives a better shoulder line - the slight stretch in the fabric accommodates this. If you are a true size 16 through the bust and torso as well as the shoulders, stay in your size.

One more thing worth knowing - do not be in a rush the first time you put it on. The button holes are tight and difficult to push through initially. They do loosen with wear and get easier each time. You are not doing it wrong - it is just the way this shirt is when it is new.

Soft satin-like finish with slight stretch. Structured and polished. Warmer than a natural fibre - best for autumn, winter and mild spring.

Do not bleach. Wash separately. Do not tumble dry. Drip dry in shade. Do not dry clean. Cold iron if needed.

I personally just throw mine in the washing machine with my other clothes.  Most tags these days all say delicate to cover themselves legally.
