📐 Honest fit notes

I'm Vida - founder of Cheeky Goddess and a certified fashion stylist. I wear everything before it goes on the site. No filters, no size 8 model.

The photos are all of me, a normal size 14 woman with a paunchy belly, cellulite, and too many lumps and bumps!  My measurements -  height 174cm, bust 93cm, waist 80cm, hips 105cm. I'm wearing the M/L in these photos as I personally prefer a tighter tank for a more streamlined look.  Usually I'm a size 16 in the upper body and size14 in the lower body.

The ribbed knit stretches gently across each size. Size down for a closer fit, stay true to size for a little more ease.

One thing worth knowing before you buy - this fabric holds warmth against the skin and doesn't dry quickly underneath. It's not the top for the hottest day of summer. But what shows on the outside? Nothing. It holds its composure even when your day doesn't.

45% Rayon, 27% Nylon, 28% PBT. Hand wash cold, dry flat. No bleach, iron or dry clean.

I throw mine in the washing machine with other colours every time and it comes out perfectly.  Most tags say handwash these days to cover themselves legally.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Q.  Will my bra straps show?

A.  Most regular bras work fine with this top. If you're one of those women that their straps are always moving towards their outer shoulders, then yes, they probably will show.  Then I would wear it with a racerback bra.

Q.  It's a fitted style - will it work on a size 14 body?

A.  Yes - I'm a size 14 and I wear it myself. The ribbed knit has gentle stretch and holds its shape without digging in. If you're between sizes, size up for a little more ease.

Q.  Does it really not show visible sweat marks?

A.  Yes. Tested on a warm day when I knew I would be really busy physically and would sweat a lot, Nothing showed on the outside. The fabric holds warmth and doesn't dry quickly underneath - but visually, you'd never know.

Q.  What if the shorter length makes me feel exposed?

A.  It won't ride up - the ribbed knit keeps it in place. The waist length is what makes this top so easy to wear. No tucking, no adjusting. It sits at the waist and stays there.  If you're worried about it, order a size larger.  I specifically wore a pair of pants that sit lower than my waist on some of the photos so that you can see where top comes to in a size smaller than I usually wear.
